@ptrck Thanks! I thought it would be fun. I would probably print like 50 and just send them to anyone who wants one if they pay for shipping. Maybe sell them at my shows (music).
@dame even then, I’d only consider it because I already have the vintage lenses I got from my dad and I like the range finder experience. There is no way I could justify buying lenses that expensive otherwise.
@dame Absolutely. I won’t buy any of it new. I plan to buy one generation back and sell it when the next comes out. It’s an upfront investment, but since no Leica is ever going to lose all value, you’re essentially renting for a few years.
@danielpunkass Whenever I’ve had a job where I could, I maxed out my 401k. My problem is that working freelance is quite variable, so it’s been difficult to have times where I could do that same thing outside of when I’ve had 9-5 jobs.
@peterw Totally. Those two are clearly the best, but Lower Decks slightly more for me.
@ptrck Thank you! I definitely will. I'm planning on going in the spring when things are at their peak beauty. I may even collect it into a photo book I can send to anyone who wants a copy.
@manton Thank you!
@noahread Maybe I'm too anal retentive about it. I wish there was an easy way for this to be automated.
@manton Doesn't seem to be showing up. Here's the post on Micro.blog and Bluesky. collin.micro.blog/2024/11/1... bsky.app/profile/c...
