@collin.social What I’m wondering is if it could be a better approach to instead of having tightly coupled view models that go along with every view, to have observable models which represent more generic concepts. Like a Settings model, for example. Probably a couple of environment objects as well.

@jamellebouie.net We have three levels that start at a safe village to support and public housing. I know of at least one person who started in the safe village, graduated up, got a job at the local cafe, went back to school and has a regular place now.
@collin.social The total operating cost of USPS is something like $3.5 billion, and Amtrak is around $1 billion. That seems like a hell of a deal for what they provide. If it’s that cheap to operate Amtrak, we should put a couple more billion dollars into it, make it nicer, and lower ticket prices.
@collin.social iPad has proper table views now, and keyboard shortcuts should match, so maybe the biggest thing would just be menus? I guess it really depends what kind of app you are making.
